I just noticed on the SciFi website, Adam Baldwin is making an appearence on SG-1. www.scifi.com/stargate.

I read recently that they're making a new Stargate series (can't remember its name or what its basis is supposed to be). I think it was on sci-fi.com but I'm not sure. Anywhoo, there was a thing about Adam Baldwin auditioning for one of the roles. There was a quote from him saying that he wouldn't be the main guy because he's too old for that type of role. He also said that there was nothing set in stone and that "I'm still trying to convince them to hire me."

If he is guest starring, then maybe he got the part and this is a thing to introduce him and/or the other series before it airs. Either that or he didn't get the part but they decided to use him in a guest spot anyways.

It's Stargate Atlantis, but this is an upcoming episode of the regular series.

I wonder if the character in this episode of Stargate SG1 is the same character he will be playing in SG: Atlantis.

Don't know anything about Stargate Atlantis - but I think the episode of SG1 airing tonight in the UK is the first of the two-parter with Adam Baldwin in it.

I was channel surfing and I saw Adam Baldwin on Stargate SG-1! He had a helmet on but I had no trouble recognizing him...it is such a thrill to see him on screen...
altho of course I would rather see him as Jayne,
but I love seeing him on Ats, and this appearance is great too!

Adam was in "Heroes, Pt 1" and "Heroes, Pt 2" as the team leader of SG-13. I thought he did a great job...his monologue about fatherhood was excellent. :D I think he mentioned to convention crowds that he was trying to convince them to use him on "Atlantis" too, and that'd rock, though I'm a little nervous that that show might suck a lot. We'll see. :)
