oh but thank you for replying!

ah don't worry about not being single - you have single mates surely?

yes, it look a good uni, looks just exactly what i need infact, it is as always, a question of money. blah. but i shall start inquiries after christmas (i was told that was the best time) to see if i would actually get onto the course, and then start applying for funding, and hopefully next october, there i'll be! so as soon as i know its going to happen i shall start the shouting.

y'all didn't need that much detail did you?

That is a dilemma. Would it be reassuring to know that there is someone out there who is having the same trouble trying to find you?

Yeah, yeah. Lonely and inspiring. PFFT! I'm saying, Sass is all about southeast Asia and so am I. We could make it a browncoat adventure! (Seriously, Vietnam is so cheap it makes me sad)

I'm very smart.

Just gonna jump right back into this singles thread - strange, since I don't usually identify myself as single. Whether I'm dating someone or not has never really been part of how I identify myself until recently. Odd?

So first my personal plug: 24, female, in Atlanta. Brown hair, grey eyes, 5'5"... Seeks smart guy, friendly and open (because I'm a little shy) to go on adventures with. C'mon, anyone? I'm not THAT hideous! And if we get along, I'll even invite you to come travel with me next summer

Ok, now an imponderable. Sort of. My very good friend, probably my best friend down here, just started dating someone. I despise her. I seethe when I have to be around her. She is everything that I do not like in people. It is hard enough that my friend now has someone to occupy her every free moment, leaving me a little more lonely, but what's worse is that even when I AM invited to hang out with them I don't want to. I just sit there, staring at this girl, thinking "what in the name of god and all his wacky nephews does she see in her?!"

I really just needed to vent, but if someone has some suggestions on temporary coping mechanisms (because really, their relationship will not last long) it would do me good :)

I'm very smart.

I'd rather just use my eyes though, like a real tracker

You can't go wrong when you follow Mal's advise.
