I sometimes support Bush when I agree with his stance on issues, such as War on Terror or Immigration. I sometimes don't support Bush when I disagree with him, on stuff like reproductive and gay rights, stem cell research, and religion in politics.
The reason you and I argue is that I don't see Bush as the source of all woe and an evil mastermind with an evil plot for world domination. I just see a President who won't go down as great, but won't be the worst either. This disrespects your Bush-is-evil belief system, so like a good jihadist you spread your hatred of Bush to include me.
I was going to end this post with a retorical "And why do you support...?" but then I realized I don't know of any individual that you do support.
So, is there anyone in the political arena that you consider worthy of your support, or is it all just hate?

But, I don't want this thread to be a debate. We can and will do that elsewhere. This is a thread for your thoughts. As SignyM puts it - it's 3 ayem and it's just you staring at the dark ceiling alone with your your silent thougths. What are those thoughts? It's clear that overall you support Bush and there is very little he will do that you don't excuse. You maintained he didn't lie about WMD, when cornered with the truth you said 'so what?'. You support Bolton, support job out-sourcing, SS privatization, and administration corruption (among a whole long list of things). You even supported the detention of a man who did nothing more than write on a plastic bag? What I want to find out is, what in your mind makes the administration so worthy of your support in the face of that list?

I'm an armchair Nazi Apologist and he tells me it's Gods will that we do shitty things to our fellow man so that make it O.K.
OR:
I dont like to think for myself or have to worry about the things our parents and grandparents did like actualy having a conscience.
OR:
I'm in a well paid job so I dont have to give a fuck about the rest of you and can happily use the excuse that Bush is doing whats right to protect me so I dont lose sleep at night while the rest of you are grabbing ankle.
