Oh I have seen Red Dawn. But only at the alamo drafthouse where they had guys doing a Mystery Science Theater 3000 thing about it. It was like shooting fish in a barrel though. So, it wasn't as funny as other ones. Top Gun was the best.

I'm gonna be usin' that one from here to doomsday. I think the story was written before the setting was established. Seems there weren't too many emotionally significant or patriotic movies of that time.
And i've been a Powers boothe fan since. I loved him in Frailty, Sin City, and Tombstone. Ever seen By Dawn Early Light? Another Cold War movie with Powers Booth.

Red Dawn had C. Thomas Howell. Talk about a childhood crush! *sigh* I just loved him - until he did Soul Man, that is. Talk about a baaaad movie!

Dude! I had forgotten about Howard the Duck! I love that movie. yes mostly because of Lea Thompson.
But everytime it was on I watched it. Red Dawn was a Fav as well.lets see... We forgot about Krull, LadyHawk, Buckaroo Bonzi (I have seen it 3 times in the last month. Drives the Wifey nuts cause she doesn't like it), Flash Gordon,....
Did I mention the list goes on and on and on...

Big K, just watched Ladyhawke last night with GND and Babysis. They'd never seen it until then. Just wish we could edit out most of the crappy music.

FLASH! AA-AAAA!
I love that movie! I must own it someday! I always craved the outfits - especially the sparkly gold dress that Dale (that's the woman's name, right?) wears when she escapes the palace.
woo-hoo! It's Friday 5 pm! Have a lovely weekend all!!
