Oh dear, another morning of adventure for me! Got into an interesting discussion with my mom on our morning walk. I love it when I actually, after ten minutes, get my concept accross to her! And then there was getting contacts. Oh, how I have missed my contacts.
And now, as I have tonight off and it's been a long damn while, I think I should actually go watch some Firefly!

Mal4Prez - 'Fish Called Wanda' is one of my favourite films - partly coz the cast is so fantastic and partly coz my Dad loves it too! We can quote most of it between us - scary kind of family ours! But then we're British in part - the humour is right up our alley!
SK! - I am from a performing background too & have little or no interest in sports - though I have been educated a little in recent years as my firneds have introduced me to AFL - I usport the Kangaroos - and I am a long time fan of the Melbourne Tigers in basketball - Andrew Gaze Rocks!

This is gonna sound impossibly coincidential, but I'm currently living in Stoke-On-Trent, about a mile away from Tunstall . I'm a student at Staffordshire University, so yeah, I'm near one of your old stomping (if you do stomp) grounds it would seem. I'm originally from a small town in Cheshire, which is probably about 20 miles away from Tunstall!

I really shouldn't have gotten the truck muddy. Took eight hours of hand buffing to clear up 16 years worth of oxidation.
But it was very fun. Oh well. Still need to wash the windows. Very ticket worthy.
Guilty pleasure: Sixteen Candles. Can't help it.

Wow!! INM! University of Staffordshire!!! I have so many friends who went there!! Whereabouts in Cheshire are you from originally, I have a few friends in that part of the world too you know! Wow! 2) I'm all about the Disney Princess movies - not by personal preference, mind you, as I am the proud father of two gorgeous (very) young ladies. That said, "Cinderella" is almost the perfect movie - superb animation, sympathetic, attractive lead, classic songs, humor (the "pompous windbag" line is a family favorite), pathos, good, evil, classic archetypal plot with brilliant pacing and execution, talking mice, magic, and it ends with a wedding. My only quibble is I would have liked to see the wicked stepmother get a little more humiliation at the end, like being forced to walk away from the estate penniless in rags with her nasty daughters sobbing behind her.
As far as guilty pleasures go, nothing comes immediately to mind, except for the great time I had watching Clerks 2 with the wife a few weeks back. It's not that I feel guilty, it's just that through large portions of the movie, I felt like I should feel guilty for finding it funny. What really made my day was the live theater part of the presentation: observing which groups of viewers walked out on the movie at various times. For those who haven't seen it, imagine a scene where some white doofus is arguing with a black woman that various racially derogatory terms are not in fact insulting. It's quite over the top, and then a black couple walks out right in front of you. It just meshed seamlessly with the on-screen action. Then there was the older couple, then there was the family with 12/13ish year old girls in tow (I honestly couldn't figure out how they had made it as far as they did, I would've taken my girls out of there in about three minutes flat.)
