I like stealing home - even though I saw it a looong time ago and don't remember it much now. And I just saw Secretary a few months ago - it was shockingly entertaining. Who knew S/M could be so fun?
My guilty entertainment pleasure is the Top Model reality show. I know, it's horrible. But I get addicted.

Let's just say I am the queen of guilty pleasure movies. My video cabinet (I own A LOT of DVD's) even has its own drawer dedicated to movies I'm embarrassed that I own...and yet still love. Try these on for size:
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (SJP, Helen Hunt and some cute hunky guy dancing their little shoes off).

OK, now I'm catching up with yesterday...
Rugbug - re meeting up right away - I never did! I went on four dates from match.com, and each one had at least two weeks of swapping emails beforehand. Maybe it's a Vermont thing, but each guy waited for me to make the decision that we should meet. They offered their phone numbers, and left it up to me to call or not. Nice boys.!
There's nothing wrong with insisting that you wait to get to know them over email, and then maybe a phone call or two, before you meet face to face. That's the whole point of the internet dating thing (or it was for me) is meeting people and yet avoiding that really awkward date with someone you don't know at all and end up not liking but you're stuck with them through dinner.
Don't worry about being rude. Just insist that they stick with email, and don't even follow up if you're not interested. I was trying to be nice, but that doesn't work. Polite good, nice not so much.
You have a hopeful, huh? You gonna swap info before your membership expires?

I am gonna have to say that Bring It On is my increadibly pathetic movie guilty pleasure, can't conjur up a reason as to why exactly. I guess because Eliza Dushku and Kirsten Dunst play cheerleaders I guess.
And come on how funny is the "spirit fingers."

I guess my guilty pleasure is romantic comedies in general. What can I say? Being raised by a single mom you sorta get exposed to a lot of these things.
I even own When Harry Met Sally on DVD.
Worst first date movie was probably Master and Commander. That movie is terrible. Luckily it worked out for the best since we were cracking jokes about how stupid the movie was the whole time. Knew I had a keeper immediately.

LOL!!! I love that movie too - I am so sharing all my darkest secrets today aren't I? I was surprised when one of my friends said that her younger brother and another friend were watching it one evening - both 'boys' were in the youth group which I ran at the time - I said, "Why would they be interested in 'Bring it On'? Bit of a chick flick I would have thought", but she gave me one of those looks and just said - "the car wash"... I was floored!... my young boys were growing up...
Edit: I also love 'When Harry Met Sally' and can quote huge chunks of it... 'tis a sad fact, but there it is! ...of course the "...I'm gonna be 40!" line isn't quite so funny when you are 39, but it was hilarious when I was 32!! ...now where'd I put that DVD...?

oh!! i LOVE 'bring it on' as well, mainly cause elisa dushku was in it.. and i do love cheerleaders (yet ANOTHER cool thing we don't really have in OZ) ummm.. lets see there are so many movies to choose from...oh! another would be 'centre stage' cause i trained as a classical ballet dancer for about 12 years...before i realised i didn't want to be a professional dancer...and that movie really struck a chord with me...also i just really like any movie with any kind of dancing in it.
im also a HUGE fan of all Disney movies..especially the cool older ones, when they were all musicals and had storylines based on myths and fairytales...
and i just spent the last 2hours or so watching My Fair Lady on cable...one of the best movies ever...
(OMG, Magdda... you posted that it was saturday, earlier, and when i read that i had a total random moment of.."it's SATURDAY??? does that mean it's saturday NIGHT?? where the hell did saturday go?? i thought this was friday...did i just totally miss a day?..what day was today, anyway??"

Hey SK! LOL!! I have those moments all the time! Yeah - 'tis Saturday, but not Saturday night!
2am - oy - I'll have to see how I go... got a few things on tomorrow, but I love being here when all my US based friends are around too!
So who'll win the AFL Grand Final tomorrow SK? (not that I care terribly - just that you're an Aussie and we should, you know... act like Aussies I guess)
And I just put 'A Fish Called Wanda' in the DVD player, but I'll see how much I get through!

So I had a few drinks and went muddin' in the field last night. Not entirely responsible, but I took GND with me. Never left the yard but got the truck REAL muddy. I'm such a bad person to my pony.
