Come back Dave!
I don't think you killed the thread, it just seems very quiet around here last few days.

Have you ever tried to pick up a thread? They're very heavy!

I keep striking out. I can't understand it either I've got the best line ever. I'll walk up to a bit of spun all natural fiber and say, "Hey silky, howzabout you an' me putting a stitch in time." And then they throw their bobbin at me.
It's discouraging.

You can't get rid of me that easily. I just hope my thread murdering days are behind me. And it seemed like I had put my chequered past to rest but then bam 36 hours with a dead obvious straight line and nothing. It's enough to cause a man to doubt his jocularity.
But all is now well as the thread is back on the front.

My brain hurts too - though not from work. I think I've contracted an annoying little virus of the rhino variety. I'm like a moaning flegm factory and as much as I would like to sleep I can't in more than a two hour stretch. Oh well off to dose myself with over the counters and feel miserable.
