Wesley...I loved everything about him,
I loved his bad side when he was on Buffy,
then his inept Rogue Demon Hunter,
then his insecure leader of the group and heart broken lover of Fred,
then I REALLY loved his dark side that followed his betrayal of Angel, sleeping with the enemy.

And finally in S5 he really emerged as the romantic tragic hero....
turning into Illyria's groveling minion....

Poor Wes is dead, but I still believe that somewhere his Father is preparing to raise him up,
and turn him into the perfect obediant Zombie son he always wanted.....

Lorne is just the coolest. I'm only on season two right now, but already he's becoming one of my faves. You just can't help but like the guy.

Mine is Doyle(a tru hero) and Darla.i loved Darla on Buffy so wen i saw her on Angel i was like wooooooooooo! And Doyle rele reminds me of Whistler from Buffy- a funny and quirky guy!

Spike hands down. Ghosty Spike or Vampire Spike all the same. Angelus has to be the next though.

I'm gonna be a rebel here, I'm going to have to go with Angel. I guess I like dull as a table lamp.

But if I focus on my favourite character not in most seasons, then Spike, definitly.

My favourite character from Angel has got to be Spike, with Wesley comming in a close second. He was just so damn witty, plus he could kick ass and also he didn't actually want to be alive, after he'd made peace with himself at the end the final Buffy episode.
For those of you who are wondering Wesley missed out because frankly he was too damn whiny, and the only time that he stopped being whiny was when Angel betrayed him and he ended going bad and getting it on with Lilah.

Angel: This may come out a little pretentious, but… one of you will betray me. [Spike raises his hand] Wes.
Spike: Oh… can I deny you three times?

It's a toss-up. Angel has such a long, complicated history and is still fascinating to me to this day, but Cordelia changed so much from being a one-note bitch in BUFFY'S season 1 (and 2 & 3, Ha!) to an increasingly complex, noble and fun character throughout the first 3 seasons of ANGEL (Season 4 doesn't count 'cause it was really Jasmine). I cried more over Cordelia's death than even Joyce's or Tara's. I sure as hell wasn't expecting that!

And then there's Wes...(sigh)!
