Yeah, I am glad that there are a few folks in here, because there is no one in chat this morning.
Graveyard shifts suck, but I guess they would just take some getting used to. No traffic on the way to and from work would be one boon I suppose.
When I first got into Firefly (March of this year) and found out about this site I was on all the time, but at that time my wife and I were living apart and she had the boys with her in Oklahoma. Now, I am lucky if I get to check my e-mail at night (though I am not regretful about it at all and wouldn't trade it for anything in the 'verse).
What do you do on your graveyard shift job (I might have asked before, but if I did, I forgot) ?

I answer phones; it's a service. I get to take a lot of emergency calls and talk to some very weird people.
Sadly, as the shift is ten hours, there is some traffic when I'm going to and from work. But when I'm off (like tonight) I can go places really late or early and there's nobody out. It's great!
I'm trying to get out, but there's just nothing available right now. The job market is luh-suh.
But did someone say party?

What's your degree in, if any ?
I do service too, for my second job. I really hate people, and I hate waiting tables, but it is a necessary evil because the bills have got to get paid.

Do not talk of degreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees! 
I don't like school, I don't have a degree. I want to get certified in PhotoShop so I at least have that. If I think of a degree that I truly want to pursue, I'll pursue it, but for now I have too many things I like to do and am good at to focus on just ONE for four ruttin' years.

Can't help you there. I'm new enough here that I have neither smilies nor a shiny banner/animation signature. I plan on getting there some day, but for now, I'll stick with my duck feeding sig.

If you find yourself getting too worked up about stuff that isn't real (RP Threads etc), then go outside, breathe in some fresh air and try feeding the ducks. (Because ducks don't care about your politics, religion, skin colour, choice of music or even your haircut. They like everyone, provided you bring them food.)

A thousand apologies, though the Photoshop certification does sound promising.
Are the things you like to do / are good at very much different from one another ??

Got to admit I can't create a goramn thing on photoshop.... so I use the services of Mr G Oogle and see what I can find! I would love to knw how Penguin, PR and others make them. (hint, nudge)
degree... spent too many years getting one and I'm still not sure they help you find a job! This is lunchtime for me in the UK!
