Comic Con in San Diego is the biggest Con you'll ever attend. It's huge! I think there were 120,000 people there last year. You'll find all kinds of things to do.
As for Flan, they've said this is the last year for it.

I hope they get an invite too! A friend who went to S3 and spoke to Sean said he told her he hasn't even been invited yet!
I'm scratching my head wondering why. Anyone else have any light to shed on this development?
I do wonder if maybe he just said that so he didn't look like the bad guy to the fan if he doesn't really want to go.

The BE folks continue to say that the guest list for Flan 2 is not yet complete. I hope that means that more cast members are going to sign on, not just more of the supporting players.
Not that I won't be going, whatever way that plays out...

I'm arriving from St. Petersburg, Florida on Thursday Dec 7 into LAX at 9:10am. Just found out Burbank is like 40 minutes away by car. That's 3 trains and a bus and probably 2 hours. Any other Browncoat coming in at that time want to share a cab? Or any local Browncoat have a kindness to share their ride, I'll spring for gas?
I aim to misbehave!

The one I used last year was called Red Van (or something like that). I just stepped out of the terminal to the "vans and shuttles" lane and asked one of the folks stationed there to hook me up. Tell them you need to get to the Burbank Hilton (assuming you're staying at the con hotel) and they'll put you on the right shuttle.
It's not free (I'm remembering it to be around $30) but that's much less than a cab.

Probably right about the cab, even with 3, it's liable to be just as much as the shuttle. I guess I'll do that if there's no one local that might be heading in that direction.

Jonathan Woodward added to Flan 2 lineup!
By popular request, fan favorite Jonathan Woodward has been added to the Flan 2 lineup. Jonathan is a member of the Whedon hat trick club, having appeared in Buffy, Angel and Firefly. An extremely limited number of passes are still available for this December event.
