Aaaah, the fine art of microwave cooking. Wash the spuds and pierce them all over with a fork. Loosely wrap them in a moist paper towel, and they will make it fine for 10 to 15 minutes with out exploding.

Eggs - pierce the yoke gently a couple of time, and it won't explode.

Beans always explode keep a paper towel on top of them. I suppose if you pierced each bean they probably wouldn't, but who has time for that.

For microwaving, make sure it's pierced or covered.

Do your microwaves not have the "potato" button? It's so easy. You just pop the pricked potato in, hit the Potato Button and in 3ish minutes, you have a cooked potato.

No exploding necessary.

Though, a microwaved potato tastes like crap, IMHO.

Does it have a popcorn button? The first microwave my family owned, like 20 years ago, had a popcorn button.

And that thing was huge and fake wood and ugly as anything and made alot of noise.

Or...woohoo! I have this place ALL TO MYSELF!!!

*lays in middle of floor with a bowl of popcorn, a bottle of rootbeer with a very long curly straw and ALL the remotes.*

Mine! ALL MINE!

I miss everybody, too.

We could all just go back and live at the Hyatt and wait for D*C to roll around again.

But, I'd rather go back to England. I miss England. :(

Popcorn?

I haven't had popcorn in ages.

You could come live in my house. If immigration asked who you were we could put a light shade on your head and say you were a decorative American Lamp.
