More Browncoat demographics: What were y'all like in High School?

I was the typical B and C student in school. Hung out in a small group of friends which still keep in touch to this day. All of us where in the NJROTC unit for 4 yrs and on the Rifleteam. Now most people think of rifleteam as spinning and throwing the dummy fake ones but we shot 22 cal pellet rifles competitively in school. We're ranked number 1 in the state of WA from 1994 - 1998. We did our own things. We didn't do the traditional HS things. Football games on friday nights, homecomings, proms none of that stuff. We had more interest in 4-wheelin, drinking beer (when we could get it), watching movies and playing video games.

A total mix. I thought I was a geek but I was too much of misfit and too lazy to be in the honor-roll crowd and only attempted sports for a year (HS coaches are freaky). Years after HS I met a girl at party, several cities away who blurted out "hey you went to my school, you were that smart stoner." I guess if there have to be labels for those years I'd rather have "smart-stoner" over the image I had of myself at the time.

I was equal parts B and C.
I absolutely hated school, I never fit in at all. My group of friends were kind of semi-popular, but I was always on the outside looking in. The 'popular' crowd would always find something to pick on me and my best friend about.
Also, being asexual meant that while other girls became interested in boys I was still more interested in the next series of Buffy, which meant being labelled 'frigid'. I've also always been mature for my age, so I used to read books that most of them hadn't heard of yet so I was a 'swot'.
Basically, the whole school experience turned me into a nervous wreck with social anxiety, which still effects me now three years out of school.

D, of the choices you list. I went to a very small high school (our graduating class had something like 30 students) and I got along with people tolerably well, I just didn't like very many of them. I think because it was such a small group it wasn't as clinically divided along clique lines.
In college I retained that same...aloofness...one might say, but developed the ability to mask it. I actually dabbled at being an A (or rather, befriending people I didn't actually think much of) for a few semesters, only to find it exhausting. I then reverted back to a D and find myself still quite content.
I'm very smart.

C all the way. Honour Roll, straigh As, top of the curve --all of which sounds impressive until you realize that 99% of my high school was completely and utterly stupid. Like "make Jayne look like a criminal mastermind" stupid.
I was kinda the "stealth rebel" --I quickly learned that being an Honour Roll student means the teachers will let you get away with anything. Skipping, lateness, accusations of vandalism (though, to be fair, I didn't start the fire, I just happened to be nearby when the Principal arrived), disrespectfulness, fights, sneaking off mid-class to the darkroom with a cute brunette (who also happened to be an honour student). . .
Uh, where was I?
There were a few shining lights, two of whom ended up being fairly close friends, and one of whom became my first love, though I haven't seen any of them for years.
Hung out in the Art room a lot, with a handful of other geeks and loners (who weren't necessarily any smarter than everyone else, they were just wierder). I wouldn't call myself popular, but looking back, I realize that a lot of people knew me by name.

Ohhh boy, was I a B. Never interacted with anyone. Wanted to blow up the school, the lousy teachers and every gorram punk, druggie, and football jock who once laughed in my general direction. (To say nothing of the fat, obnoxious hormone-bags who wouldn't give me a moment's peace...)

Lessee, I dunno if this'n 'll make any sense, but a mix of A and D. A small group of close friends, can definitely defend myself in a fight (I've take 7 years of Kung Fu). Always thinkin' about fun. And most importantly, an Independent (in both meanings of the word)

A very strong D, with the IQ of C (but not into Star Trek and while I like Star Wars was never obsessed), and the loner element of B at times without the desire to blow up things (for the most part).

voted "Friendliest girl" and "Class chatterbox", straight A's and 3-season letter winner - liked (not loved) Star Trek and was best friends with the school dealer
