I am a fairly new convert to Firefly, maybe a month or so in total, but what a month it has been.......from one randomly caught episode to owning everything filmed on Firefly and the BDM! I have watched every episode God alone knows how many times, and of the lot, I have to pick Our Miss Reynolds as my fav.
I would love to hear what others think.
I mean to confound these bungers.

But I think my favorite episode is "Out of Gas".
Love the first scene with everybody enjoying there companionship. They were really becoming a family.
I'm glad you have discovered this show and are enjoying it. We have our fingers crossed and hope for more. With ever new member such as yourself we become mighty.

Its just fun to see Atherton Wing get his ass handed to him by the Captain.
Jaynestown because of Jaynes one-liner's and facial expressions are classic.

Welcome to the fold. Hope this doesn't make me sound too violent, but War Stories is my favorite, followed by Serenity (episode). War stories has it all; humor, action, unfolding plot developments, surprises.
The BDM holds a very special place in my heart, but I don't think of it as an episode. It's more the culmination of everything Firefly.

My favorite episode is definitely "Out of Gas". I love the music score for that particular episode. Edmonson outdid himself with the music. It conveyed so much without any dialog at all.
I also liked seeing just how Wash, Kaylee, Inara, and Jayne came to be onboard, as well as the initial reaction of Zoe to Serenity.
