Hey - I feel your pain Phoenix Rose - I have been hurt because I cared enough to be nice to a troll and... well that never works I guess!
This is truly a wonderful place to be - it just seems like we need to put a fence up so the Trolls can't wander in and damage things occassionally - doesn't it?
Shame - but might be nesc....

Which thread this time? I usually only skim so I don't know.Because of that tendancy I haven't run into many trolls.
Too bad about that earlier thread too. I'm sorry I missed it. It looked like a fun one. Was it ever continued anywhere else?
(and ignore Kaneman if they bother you. There's currently a thread devoted to trying to get them banned)

Both threads I mentioned were "Male and Female Imponderables" threads, which yes have been continued and I'm sure will continue to be continued. Mostly they've been a lot of fun. Lots of good reading material there for any who are interested!

Hmmm. I was always a little afraid to check out those threads because they have so many posts. Intimdating you know? Must get over that. I think I'm missing out on a lot of fun that way.

I don't care if you're "defending" me or not wildigstart, what you said here truly captures what I perceive to be the ENTIRE problem. I THOUGHT that this forum, full of fans about a show that stresses freedom and independence, would be more open to my abstract points of view than others. Believe it or not, I'm not a "morbid" person. I'm not nor do I associate with goths, ravers, punks, skinheads or any number of other teenage angst groups. I'm not about self pity, trying to get attention, and I don't get off to pictures of dead bodies. My life philosophies are very conservative and fatalistic, mainly, that to endure suffering is the most valuable learning experience in life, and that death in battle is glorious.
If that makes me a savage or Neanderthal, then fine. I obey the laws of this country in spite of my personal beliefs, and I try to use those same beliefs to positive effect as much as possible, for the betterment of our nation. I've never killed someone in cold blood, I've never raped a women or had sex at all for that matter, I've never taken a sip of alcohol or experimented with drugs. Mine is a VERY disciplined way of life and it disgusts me how much some people have been misinterpreting it and crapping on me for it.
If I type something that you REALLY don't like, ignore it. If I type something that you can get on board with, feel free to discuss. Just stop being [MOD EDIT: Please refrain from person attacks] about words on a screen.
