I've been looking for the comments about the movie at fireflymovie.com but I can't seem to find them, plus the link leads me to the same old news.

According to articles found at the following urls (granted they are all from Sept 2003, it looks like the movie is a go. I can't find any news that is more recent.

I don't know if these articles were published before or after Joss Whedon said the movie wasn't a done deal.
A question that has been bothering me about the movie: if the movie is a go, will they have the same cast members for the characters?

Huh? Why do you think SciFi would do this? They are the channel for a show such as Firefly. I think they would stick with it. Afterall, they've stuck with Stargate SG-1 for 6 or 7 seasons. And considering that Firefly, in my opinion, is better than Stargate SG-1 (and I'm a SG-1 fan).
