I had planned to, but when push came to shove I just wasn't ready to rewatch them....
I don't own that many DVD, only things I know for sure I want to rewatch many times.
Back when videos first came out I collected everything I could lay my hands on, and invariably my friends wanted to watch something I was sick to death of... so now I only own what I know I'll enjoy watching ad nausium.

yeah the actors are getting blamed for bad writing and worse direction:

See, that's what I'm saying. It was actually rather sad to see all those wonderfull actors trying to play that horrible dialogue. And I still blame much on Direction.
The prequels could have been good movies. There was already a framework ther for a great story but it was filled out all wrong. Again. This is why I reserve my hate for George Lucas instead of the prequels which really only bug me.

I've never really hated the prequels. I actually saw episode 1 first, and then saw the originals. While there were some truly horrible moments in the prequels and on the whole they weren't as good as the originals, they weren't absolutely terrible. And I've never thought that the original trilogy was nearly as much a masterpiece as most other people seem to suggest it was. The same flaws that are evident in the prequels in the originals, they're just better disguised.
