I was watching Serenity today and noticed a couple things that had slipped by me. Zoe Mal and Jane are checking the drop point on Whitefall. Mal tells Jayne for the second time " Cause I'm standing right here". Zoe gives a very subtle shake of here head and I could just hear here thinking " Jayne Jayne Jayne".

Does anyone remember the late 60's early 70's NASA snack called "Space Food Sticks"? They were foil wrapped and Chocolaty tasting. I thought the salvaged food stuffs looked quite a bit like a brick version of that supposedly healthsome snack.

My 'small moment' is the last scene in 'Safe', where they gather round the dining table. In the DVD special, someone points out that the show really is a family drama at heart.
Oh yeah, and the last scene in 'Shindig'. Love the music ... and the CGI cows.

commentary, man. Gotta listen to it.
...you - you did buy the DVD, right?

Anyways, mine's how you can hear the subtle rumble of the ship's engines at the end of OiS, then it fades out as you pan through the ship, 'till finally hitting the silence of space. I love that!

yup CGI .. note the cow patties when shown in that and in other episodes are in perfect, ordered piles and not all over Serenity's cargo bay
