For some reason, this link doesn't work. I'm definitely interested in trying it out. I love Bwah! by the way. Great job. I just wish the characters and cards were more balanced.

First off, love BWAH!. I was just wondering if you had time if you could make a BDM expansion, also I think the game is lacking a certain, I don't know... Mutated Cow Fetus (I love the idea of that card). Of course if you're busy I understand.

As for "balance", well, my belief is like the show portrays:
"Life ain't necessarily fair and some folk have to work harder than others to achieve their goals."
Or, that could just be my cop out for lack of playtesting (which isn't true because the local SOBs (Southern Ohio Browncoats) here have played the game to death and resurrected it and played it again!
Seriously, after the first expansion, any true lack of balance was corrected (for example, in the original set sans expansions, KAYLEE could win the game simply by getting two cards that allowed her to draw cards...I fixed that, and it has forever been balanced within its imbalance!)

Still doesnt' work for me. It gives me this page: http://www.savefile.com/files/7291042
On that page, it has an ad banner at the top and savefile banner below that. Then in a pink title bar, it says "ERROR". Below that is centered text in Ariel stating "File not found".
The Savefile copyright is below that.
Not much else to click on or describe. Hope I can access it soon.

I have all the Bwahs and enjoy them. I was attempting to try this game.
The one game I don't really like that I tried is Still Flyin'. Most of the event cards are blank, so it wasn't interesting to draw random events. While the map is nice and the concept is sound, the random factor with stagnant movement took away drastically from gameplay. People could 'planet hop' from one to another and not have to worry about being harassed by the reavers or alliance ships.
While some jobs are easily to complete and rewards lucritively, others aren't good and sometimes players have to travel half the galaxy to get them. Too much random factor with drawing jobs.
I was initially developing a game (terminated since my brother became hooked on World of Warcraft) which included the job finding aspect, but the emphasis was on actually doing the jobs (similar to the shows). If something goes wrong on the job, the player wouldn't immediately fail. Instead a different path was taken or an encounter. I liked the idea, but it was a huge project to take on myself.
I haven't tried Big Damn Heroes yet. The rules look fun, but honestly the pieces are kind of a turnoff.

That was a collaborative with someone else. It is a game that plays better with more people and more people who know it well. That aside, the card games are more quick and easy to learn. I agree. Though you may (or may not) find Gorram Reavers! more to your liking, and Big Damn Heroes was my first attempt at a board game, and plays well, I think.

I actually have some ideas on how to do that. Strictly a card game with money counters. I've got notes scrawled here somewhere...

I think it is alot of fun. Again, that was my very first attempt at a Firefly anything so yeah, the pieces are simplistic. Still, give it a shot. Perhaps someday, I'll update it and make it shinier! It is in desperate need of an expansion though...
