Well, I've been lurking all summer after posting once or twice way back in the infancy of this site. So here I am..and I look forward to discussing the show with all of you. A question: Are we just Firefly fans or has someone come up with a genre nickname (i.e. MSTies, Trekkies, etc.)? Nine days until Joss shows us what he's got up his sleeve..I can't wait!

I've often referred to the fans as simply Fireflies.
Being that you're a film critic, I look forward to reading your reviews of Firefly episodes.

Judging from all of the Buffyverse discussion taking place on here (along with the Firefly talk), I just assume we are all Whedonites.

Yeah, as a rabid fan of BTVS and A, I've always wondered why other show's fans got nifty nicknames (Trekkies, leapers, X-philers), and there was no gerneal concensus about Buffy fans. I'd always liked the term Buffoholic, so much so that it's my AIM screenname, but I kind of like the term "Whedonite" now.
