i love America, i consider myself to be blessed to have been born here; of all places on earth, at any time in history; considering the unimaginable poverty in some parts of the world. i have lived a comfortable life here, and i have no right to complain.
but from my perspective, we had an obligation, being the richest christian nation on the planet, to be a just representive of God, to not become material(worldy) driven, and to humbly and submissively represent the messages of Jesus' worldwide. America was once a majority christian country, and i think we were blessed by God for our good deeds, but a lot of time has passed, and our bad deeds are piled up to heaven; and the days will come when Americas true identity will be revealed; as she is an occult nation that worships money above all else.
i believe there is a significance, to everyones role in the world today, because IMO we are the final generation at the end of this age. and if i may appeal to the christians reading this; America IS mentioned in prophecy, and the diception, "the lie" is to believe that we are not; the prophecy being taught in the mega churches by the cable televangelists is in part, a false gospel, which HAS decieved Americans into arrogantly supporting our destructive behavior that is supporting the eventual rise of antichrist. mystery Babylon of Revelation 17/18, Jeremiah 50/51, Habbukkuk 1 and Daniel is America, there is no way around it; and if youll notice, we are an idolatrous nation, an apostate nation, which worships (in many ways) a false christ. we are Gods enemy! it is not a positive thing, and the evidence is all around us if we could only recognize occultism when we saw it
i love America, the people and places in it; but we are not justified in our actions, and Gods word makes it clear that we have decieved the whole world, and caused the nations to drink of the maddening wine of our adulteries; we are the great prostitute, we give rise to the antiChrist, and we create the system of the beast. the Arab world is being decieved, and has been strategically baited into a corner, left with no option but to defend themselves. are we righteous enough to judge the Muslim world? then we too will be judged. i am not justifying terrorism, but it goes both ways, and we are there to secure OUR WAY of life; and the reality is that the Arab world was deliberately provoked by our true shadow government; as they are trying initiate the global instability, so they can use in conjunction with war and economic crisis to usher in their global government. this is the government of the antichrist, and this war, ww3 as many are calling it, is prophesied to envolve Persia and Iran; and Babylon will be struck a heavy blow, both before the tribulation, and at the end. so be aware. i urge you to read this essay, it futher elaborates my message

When I was sitting in religion class growing up (unfortunately, a required course at my school) I remember thinking how much it sucked for Habbakkuk that he was working at the same time as Jeremiah. Talk about being overshadowed by your peers. Although, when it comes to minor prophets, my personal favorite is Amos. Called down the wrath of God on pretty much everyone during the day and then went home to his flock of sheep at night. A truly winning combination.

Antimason, why call America the "great whore"? We work hard to buy homes, cars, big screen televisions, and snow blowers(some of us). Yes, we are consumers. I would ask you, are we any different than other "western" countries in that regard? Do they buy homes, cars, big screen televisions in Europe? Asia? Canada? The notion that America rapes the world of it's resources is bullshit. We buy it from the "pimps" that sell their country's shit. If a country wants to sell its oil, lumber, bamboo, or silk to America, and we buy it, aren't we the "johns" not the "whores"?
America is not a christian country. The founding fathers made that perfectly clear. They may have been religious Europeans, but they created a country for all types of people to come, regardless of religious belief. That being said, WE do not have an "obligation to be a just representative of god, and to humbly and submissively represent the message of Jesus worldwide". YOU, being a christian, may have that obligation, America does not. You are aware that there are Americans who worship other than Christ. Right? One day you will understand.

1. America in not great satan raping the Earth. In general we fall behind japan in that, and way behind China, Brazil or the African Union.
2. America is not a christian nation, it's a nation of Bhuddists and Shintos and worshippers of the great sand-rat.

I see you're ducking my non-believerism with your to-christians-only message. I think you have some valid points, and if put in a way in which they are not in direct opposition to me and mine, we might be allies against a common enemy. But reaching that point does require some negotiation. You do realize that there are arguably more followers of my faith than yours, and we're probably both shy of some of the others on the forum (Bhuddism, Islam? Is there a hindu in the house?) I can't take christian claims of 2 billion seriously. If you want to say, who is a christian? Probably small parts of africa, most of L.Amer. and parts of Europe. Christians claim the dormant non religious populous, but that's a stretch. 90% of eastern europeans and a good half of americans have no real religious affiliation, have never go to a church, and never read the bible. When you narrow it down to protestantism, or any specific version there of, it gets real small. By contrast the Sunni's have a huge following of avidly religious people. No offense, but, a true end-times scenario would see christians getting their heads handed to them. At best, active protestant christians make up 5% of the planet. At the very most. I am in complete agreement that Bush is evil, and wouldn't mind allies on the Xtian side. But an isolated group of true believers are really going to get trounced.
Think about it this way: You know why we're getting our asses kicked in Iraq? Because we sent 144,000 guys. You know why we sent 144,000 guys? Because the bible said to. It says right there in the revelation of st. john the divine, the ruler who overcomes goes and occupies the valley of tigris and euphrates for 1260 days with an army of a dozen dozen thousand, ie. 144,000 men.
But you know what's wrong with that picture? It's not written in the Bible: "And the people of the earth shall number 6 billion"
It's a snag.
