Bump!
BTW- What kinda food do they have at Gullifty's and is it an expensive place to go? If it's fairly reasonable, I'd like to join you folks for dinner...

I just googled the place and the prices are reasonable, they've got a deliciuos-sounding stir-fry and lots of beer!
I'm thinkin' I'm gonna find a parking spot close to Gullifty's and walk to the show...

**************UPDATE*****************
The PA Browncoats are shifting the time to meet up at Gullifty's.
It is now 8:00.
In the PA Browncoats group, we figured that by the time all of us get seated, get food and eat, it'll be a while. And this way we won't be stuck rushing out to pay our checks and sprinting down (up?) the street to the theater. I'd rather relax and enjoy the night.
If you can't make it by 8, no biggie. :) Just show up when you can. And if you can't make Gullifty's, we'll see you at the theater at 11!

The Mid-Atlantic BCs are also planning to meet at the restaurant at 8, so hopefully this will turn into a big group thing.

AHA! 8:00 roger! *makes note* I'm actually glad. Won't be so late to eat and the more time we have to hang out, the better.
Ye gads, MalN, you have any idea how many are coming? I hope we're not like to sell out the theater before half the attendees show up.....
Best I start making some Maladjustments. As always, can't wait to see everyone.

Here's a question: how early will the theater be open to buy tickets?

(I posted this at PA Browncoats too)
I just called Gullifty's and made reservations for Saturday night at around 8:30. Since they're busy that time of night for dinner (esp. since it's a Saturday night!), they can't guarantee we'll all be placed together. Here's what I suggest:
1) Call Gullifty's and make a reservation - 610-525-1851. Your party must be at least 6 people for them to make a reservation.
2) Give them your name and tell them you're with the Browncoat group.
The very nice lady I spoke with said they will TRY to place us together, but she cannot guarantee it. Either way, I'm still happy because they'll expect me and I won't have to wait an insane time for a table.

hey all:
it's so good to see so much organizimizing going on!! i won't be there for dinner saturday b/c i'll be working, but i think i can definitely sneak out for half an hour and say hi to everybody.
but i know i have some questions to answer. so here we go:
1) i will be there both friday and saturday night to host fan-like activities starting at 11pm in the theater cafe'. these will include some general hangin'/chattin', some trivia, scene recreations, and if enough folks feel like dressing up, a costume contest. i myself am not a huge dresser-upper, but i have some hawaiian shirts that might see the light of day...
2)the theater will be open on friday about 3:30pm and saturday about 12:30pm to sell tickets. even though it's against our regular policy, i'll say that people can buy tickets for both nights as of opening friday. we're happy to do that for you guys. but we don't do tickets online or over the phone - we're kinda old-fashioned that way - sorry!
i really hope no one's worried about getting tickets. i run the place, so i can guarantee you everyone will get in. we have 360 seats in the theater the movie will be in, and i'll have the DVD as backup to play in the other theater if we go over 360 (we have another 320 in the other theater), but i really don't think we will. i'll be *very* happy to go over 250 on saturday night. please, please exceed my expectations. i'll squeeze folks in, i promise.
on a final note, gullifty's is a great choice and i'm glad you guys are all set up to meet. walking from there is *possible* - it's prob. a ten minute walk. but we also do have plenty of parking at the theater. there's a lot directly behind us owned by us and a much larger lot right next to us owned by a bank but they let our people park there after 5pm, so we have spots enough for everyone if you want to drive on up the road.
this is gonna be fun, guys. i'm getting excited.
oh, i'm gonna start shopping for prizes - any suggestions?

Do you know where to find the Serenity comics? Those'd be as shiny as a chrome hubcap...oh, and how about toy dinosaurs?
OK, so we've got dinner arrangements for Saturday night. How about Friday? Are we doing dinner that night as well, is it at the same time or later, and are there better chances of getting into the restaurant without a reservation?
