I didn't think there were fireflies in Australia. What does that have to do with drought? Maybe some of our more humid-dwelling area browncoats know the answer.

Isn't that basic premise of Firefly, a group of people facing hardships? Are they just re-releasing it so it's on Earth?

Whatever this Australian show is, it has nothing to do with Grave of the Fireflies...But it makes me ponder the symbolism of fireflies (the insects) seeing so many tales of enduring hardships with the creature in their name.
