Hey all!

Tristan actually made a pair of Captain Mal's boots!!! There is no end to the talent of that man!! (I saw them somewhere on a 'costume panicking thread' in the talk story section I think...)

Beautiful pistol, traveler.

Save that URL. There have been several threads
started by browncoats looking for a Mal pistol.

You can be the pistol expert next time someone
starts looking.

Magda's right about Tristan. He just never stops.
Got the slanty gunbelt just right, too.

I keep thinking of those boots and how well they
would go under the OMR airflow dress with the pretty
floral bonnet. Could do the pistol, too.
Then would have to find a Jayne.
Oh, welllll.

Have to be honest here. I found it by shear luck.
I was looking for a picture of Flash Gordon's spaceship from the early episodes when Mal's pistol just popped up.

I guess if your looking for anything science fiction you never know what will show up.

But when I saw this thread on the boots I figured this may be a good place to show the pistol.

Those are some mighty shiny boots. $325.00 as the "special" price is a bit steep though. Course if you are building an authentic costume they are the way to go.
