What do the symbols from the Serenity and Blue Sun logo mean?
I'm assuming Serenity and Blue Sun, but I want to be sure.

Yes. They translate the visable Chinese characters there too, both into the pin yin and English. ("Pin yin" is the romanization/transliteration of the Chinese, in case anyone is confused.)

Actually, there are several different ways to romanize the different dialects of China.

Though I beleive Hanyu Pinyin is the offical one used by the Chinese gov.
