i think i've asked you if you've ever played Eternal Darkness before...that's one you should play some day just for all the Lovecraft parallels. Have you ever checked out FEAR?

I've got the special edition pre-ordered myself, plus there's 2 more games goming out that I need to preorder : Shin Megami Tensei :Devil Summoner, and Persona 3. good thing I have persona 2 now. ;)
