Anyone else think Angel was going to grab Spike and fiercely kiss him?

I swear to god i saw some serious sexual tension in the scene in the alley after Spike was thrown out the window. Am i alone in this sentiment?

Um... yeah. I think you are.

History doesn't always repeat itself. Sometimes it merely shouts "Weren't you listening the first time?!?" and lets fly with a club.

That just sounds so wrong...

But if your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty floral bonnet, I will end you.

Im not saying Angel is going homoerotic on us but my breath caught in my throat watching that and i just thought hey... might happen. I was just checking to see if anyone else may have got the same vibe. So far it's only me my friend Mercedes here in Boston and buddy Lexi in Germany. she watches it over the web or somethinglike that. I don't know how but she sees every episode of the Simpsons before i do and sheused to watch buffy over the internet too anyway she was convinced that they would become a couple (thinking Tara and Willow had set a precedent) i had to disabused her of that notion though

I don't think they'd actually have an Angel-Spike romance on the show, but I'm given to understand that a lot of fans like to speculate about it, and I wouldn't be surprised if the folks who do the show picked up on that, and decided to tease the fans with a little "are they/aren't they?" business. Kind of like the Xena/Gabrielle thing from the '90s.

I think it was more along the lines of what we saw in the hospital room at the end of the episode.

Angel and Spike have 150 years of history. They know more about each other than just about anyone else - including what's left of the watchers.

They have too much in common to be friends. They have too much shared history NOT to hate the other for being the mirror they are forced to confront.

They are very much alike.

No, there was no homoeroticism - and trust me, being a huge Lestat fan, I'd pick up on that one :)

Sorry for reviving an old topic but there really is some pretty darn fantastic chemistry between Angel and Spike. (Not of the erotic variety in my humble opinion. Just two awsome characters/actors - butting heads.)

My favorite scene this season: In ep 15 where Angel and Spike gets into a very heated arguement about weather cave men or austronauts would win in a fight.

Classic!!! I mean, whoever thought of bringing Spike into Angel this season should get an Emmy right there. SUCH a good pair those two. Wold have loved to see that evolve in future seasons... alas.

I say, it's all right. At least for me, I have yet to read it, I don't know know about everyone else.

Oh and don't forget the whole Hold my Hand bit in 'A Whole The The World'. I can imgine icons underground circling around with that scene included in it.
God I love this show...
