What a week. Was up from 7:00 am on monday until 9:00 am yesterday doing an equipment move. Gotta pull another tonight to finish it and to make sure that everything is runnig correctly. What was I thinking wanting to work in Computers?

Hope everone is having a good week! Will try to stay up to date but could be tough until next Monday.

Yep, this Saturday I'll be working from 7:00 am till 7:00 pm moving computers and equipment all over the FCC headquarters. Good thing for me though - 12 hours at TIME AND A HALF!

I am in a similar boat with the long days. Today, tomorrow, and Friday, I have to work my fed job (0600-1430) then go bartend at my other job (1600-2330). Very long days, and had I not gone home for lunch today, I would not have seen my wife and sons at all. Gotta do it again next week too. :(

Now, I am going to be working 9-6 the next two days, but it is going to be just me and my micro-managing boss, so we know who is going to be doing all the work.

I have the weekend off, but I failed to get my act together, so no S3 ticket.

Plus side - shiny new books! (which I have already read, but it's the thought that counts.)

(Peeking slowly in the door, NVG recoils back quickly and releases the spoon. Tossing the flash/bang into the door, he shields his ears.)

BANG

Nekkid as a jaybird, NVG jumps on the pyre for all to see once their eyes are able to adjust. Dancing violently to the rhythm of Blackflag banging out The Wheels On The Bus, he finishes by flipping off the pyre, relishing in the freedom of a stage dive.

But then we'd have to include the Great Cthulhu and the rest of his gang of Ancient Ones also.

Forsaken!
Doing my normal "pop-in, say hi, go back to work" thing. Still missing the pyre...

Howdy Tristan. Guess you could use a grenade about now with work and all. Here's the procedure. have fun!

A classic hand grenade has a handle (called a spoon) and a removable safety pin that prevents the handle from being released. To use the grenade, the user pulls the pin out of the grenade and throws it, releasing the spoon. Pulling the pin on a grenade requires a large amount of force, so the pin is removed by pulling with a finger rather than with the teeth as is shown in popular motion pictures. Before removing the pin, the soldier grips the grenade to prevent the handle being released at the same time. With the pin removed, the grenade is thrown, the handle is released, and a spring-loaded striker ignites a pyrotechnic delay element in the fuse. The delay burns for two to five seconds, and then activates the detonator, exploding the grenade.

Or if that ain't acceptable right now, maybe this is:
New Orleans Hand Grenade recipe
Scale ingredients to servings
1 1/2 oz gin
1 1/2 oz grain alcohol
1 1/2 oz melon liqueur
1 1/2 oz rum
1 1/2 oz vodka
Stir ingredients together in a collins glass filled with ice cubes. Add water and sugar if desired, to taste, and serve.

Okay, so maybe that ain't allowed at work either. But it sure sounds good.
