While I'm waiting, I decided to take the REd and Blue pills simultaneously. I ended up in Tusla with $421.37 in my pocket and a note pinned to my duster that said, "Thanks for an awesome weekend. Love D.T"

Don't tell my wife ok?

Check out this question and response from the "Joss Answers Questions" feature:

Any chance of us seeing another instalment of 'Firefly' as a TV series? I'm thrilled about the movie, but I need more!

Hard to say. The Movie has to be a hit before these questions become relevant.

Hate to say, folks, but we're a long way from the movie being a "hit". I'm not saying we're not out, but down--that's another matter.

That comment from Joss is really old.

I'd say the movie and series is a hit based on DVD sales. And really, that's all the studio is looking at now that the film is out of the theaters.

Okay... Joss is a writer. But he also tends to spiral off into odd tangents to that seem to amuse him.

Definitely - The Diz speakuth the truth.

Here is Joss' last message directly to the Browncoat people:

It starts..

"Ahh! Spider! Spider!

No wait. Lint.

Ahh! Lint! Malevolent lint!

Oookay, where was I? Um, time of sadness... transition... live forever in our hearts.... "

Ya get the picture. As far as I know -- and I have been acheckin' every few months -- nothing is in the works yet. Sad? Yes, definitely. Sci-fi isn't interested in another series, Joss won't touch FOX (and they probably won't touch Joss), yadada. And, more importantly, Universal aren't callin' for the simple reason that from a normal sequel franchise point of view, it just hasn't done the business associated with making sequels in the industry.

He is, however, working on the 2nd set of Serenity comics at the moment. And I'm told we'll see a character to make us squee in them.

Does this mean we should all give up and go home? Well, you know, I am at home when I write this. I'm well fed (well, fat), happy and not planning to go anywhere. And I'm totally keeping ahold of my Serenity DVD. If the money turns up, press the red button (and watch the universe explode... KAPOWA!)

Welcome to Serenity - Joss Whedon

Aha! So there IS a hidden message. If they can do a movie based on Disney's attraction, "Pirates of the Caribbean," then obviously they can do one on "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride." Clearly Joss has been tapped for that feature.

You can't take this fly from me!

Cunning hats for stylish Browncoats!
