You know what I reckon we should have?
a search box, so you could find type someones name in and go straight to their userlookup, for, say if there was someones blog you liked reading, or if you were a fan of their bluesun work, but didn't want to go trawling through the bluesunroom to find them.

Is that a good idea, or am I babbling like a moonbrain?

It is a good idea, and someone has come up with code for using Google within the site, but from what I can see Haken hasn't picked it up yet. However, most of the time if you google a username from this site, this site will be the first to pop up; even if the name is used elsewhere! Go ahead, try it. Even if there end up being a few other sites, Fireflyfans is near the top

Is it possible to have certain threads stickied? Namely the tutorial for posting images, since it seems to always be needed.

We have posts already with howto information.
Just throw them altogether in one forum.

When you're logged in, why don't you just go to 'My Firefly' and in the Address/URL line remove your name at the end of that string and type the name of the person you're looking for?

Here's my suggestion.

Is it possible to get new stills of the series and of the movie into the top left hand corner that keeps getting refreshed. It just that those pics have been up there forever, and they're starting to get boring. There are plenty of other famous shots and characters that could be up there, and there's been two hours of brand new footage out in the last year. How hard is it to create new stills?
