Hi! i am so totally stoked about the fact that i'm going to Fear Factory's concert on sat 16th (1 week exactly! woohoo!) that i felt the need to create a new thread to express my joy!
In order to prepare myself for the concert i've been listening to all my favourite metal stuff for the last week and it reminded me of how much i LOVE metal. i mean, REALLY REALLY, love metal.
So, i am calling all other metal fans to post here their favourite metal bands/albums, general ramblings...whatever. and to join me in my worship of the greatest form of music ever... metal.
(To BernardBrowncoat: 1 WEEK!! FEAR FACTORY!! and then a week later... PLACEBO!! WOOHOOO!! do the funky 'we are going to metal concerts' dance with me...and no, i haven't actually figured out how we're getting to either of them yet...)

Black Label Society Three weeks!
30th September, i never in a millon years thought i'd get too see Zakk rip it up on stage on my home soil!
Im gonna see if can get one of the BLS Berzerker Vests...or Beerzerker vests 
Metal is the best, well in my oppinon at least, being a Metal Head is so much fun!
From the love of moshing and feeling your hair all over your sweaty face, to the constant want to pick up a guitar and bash out something cool and heavy!
I could go on for hours but im too dam excited...my tickets arrived in the mail today! Yay!
To any of you other Metal heads out there, get your arms in the air and your beers in the air because metal is the

i'm all about metal and its many variants...favorites include Dillinger Escape Plan, Meshuggah, Strapping Young Lad, Between the Buried and Me, Dog Fashion Disco, Walls of Jericho, Mastodon, Remembering Never, Glass Casket, Opeth, etc. (sure i'm missing some favs, but oh well ;D)

oh hell yeah!!! shinykitten you reading my mind again? i've been catching up on metal the last week too! this time next week, no voice!
yo metal heads, i love metal and am quite a fan of both old school metal and the stuff thats out now. my listening weapons of choice are, anthrax, black sabbath, kiss, judas priest, fear factory, nile, children of bodom, korn, metallica, pantera, slipknot, machine head and i'm counting tool, rammstein and type o negative as metal also. wow thats a lotta bands...as i said, i love metal!

My favorite metal groups are Slipknot, Godsmack, Amon Amarth (Viking metal rocks!),Fear Factory, A Brand New Sin, Black Label Society, and Disturbed.
I hope you have a great time at the FF concert!
P.S. Watch out for mad moshers. One of my buddies still has bruises from a mosh pit at the Slayer show more than a month ago.
