Actually, DTH, I would rather go back to Ireland. No offense to the British, as I have always loved visiting around England, but I only had eight days in Ireland...nowhere near enough time to explore. I think a three-month tour of the British Isles and Ireland would be grand!
--sigh--
*fades into a dream world of travelling*

Did you get to see Newgrange by any chance? I know you're interested in Celtic history, and that's a great place to visit if you are. Plus it's right next to Knowth and Dowth, and very close to the Hill of Tara.

DTH, no, I did not make it to Newgrange, but I did spend a day on Tara. It was the off-season (St. Patrick's Day), so I pretty much had it to myself. I have written you a letter for the Browncoat Post, but have not yet had a chance to send it...I will, though, once I get to the Post Office... I mentioned where in Dublin we stayed, and wondered if you were familiar with it and/or how close it was to you. A place called Glenveagh TownHouse in Dublin...kinda near Trinity. Great place to stay, within walking distance of everything.
Sorry, did not mean to go off on a ramble...please return to your regularly scheduled Forsken-ness...

DO NOT visit london. It is full of poiticians and lawyers. In fact dont visit engalnd at all. If you do see the lake district, or the peak district. Walk the trans pennine trail. See the countryside.
English citys are crap. England is crap. Go to scotland instead, Or Ireland, Or Wales. The best thing we gave the world were shakespeare and tea. After that we were pretty much worn out.
So DONT VISIT ENGLAND.com im so bored of it im moving to scotland

See, I used to think that about Dublin until I visited New York. I thought I'd melt into a puddle of inadequecy, but it really gave me an appreciation for my city. When I came back I found myself paying much more attention to sights and places I'd taken for granted.
Go visit the land of Oz. You'll soon figure out there's no place like home.
