I know Regina was mentioned in Firefly: Old Wounds, the audio drama. Unfortunately, they seemed to assume it was rather farther from the Core than I did. I'd like to minimize such discrepancies with other fan projects as much as is practical----so, if any of you have read or encountered a story dealing with these worlds, let me know.
I'm particularly interested in Harvest, Angel, Lian Jiunn, Prouin, Deadwood, Three Hills, Salisbury, Aberdeen, Whittier, Muir, Highgate, and Kerry.
I talked with Alan Tudyk, Summer Glau AND the Guy that wrote the Novel from the script, AND in the discussion group on "The Firefly 'verse" at dragon*Con yesterday, and they ALL said that Joss made a POINT of saying that the 'verse was ONE BIG Solar System, and that they knew it didn't make Sense (as in How could one solar system hold all those planets, moons, etc), but that it was ONLY ONE big Solar system and that's the way Joss insisted it be.
I have no preference, that's just what we were told "From the Horse's Mouth" (So to Speak).

if it has mutlitple suns that have their own planets then it's very much possible. check out the 'verse map over at the rpg site. looks like this is at least a 4-5 star system to me.

Sorry, It seemed to be THE ONE topic FF fans were actually ARGUING over, so it stuck out in my mind from this weekend... I mean arguing as in "Red faced Angry about it", I heard the Question over and over and over, so when it got settled in the various discussion groups and such ("from the Horse's Mouth), it calmed things GREATLY...
I figured it was just a matter of time before someone asked the question again in this thread ("Is it multiple solar Systems, or just one big one (etc etc etc)"?), so I was just trying to head THAT off at the pass for you, to keep the thread from drifting off in that direction.

Hey,
Thanks so much for the nod to Firefly: Old Wounds.
Great to see some people out there listening... :)
Hope you had a chance to pull down Episode 5 as we just kicked it into atmo on Monday.
A little note, Andrew and I spend a great deal of time with the tools we have trying to keep as clear as possible with the Verse. We're browncoats too, although we're certainly not perfect.
When it comes to our positioning in the stories, we worked from the Serenity Role Playing game for positioning (All we had at the time), and added our own little moons as needed.
Our contribution to the ongoing, never ending story that is Firefly.
Thanks again everyone. Stay Shiney!

to be sure, I think any future movie has to have a "stellar cartography" moment and show us where all the ruttin stuff is in that solar system.
I agree that a multiple sun system would be the best bet...maybe some worlds could have a "figure 8" orbit while others are tied to only one sun.
