Yeah, I have absolutely no intention of paying that astronomical ebay amount for those tickets. The cost to get into the convention is plenty high enough.

Oh, I'm not worried about not being able to go. I was just curious as to what it was since I'd never heard of it.

Oh, great! A bunch of friends and I will be having a room party on Sat night so I'm looking forward to that almost as much as the convention itself.

Hi everybody!
I'm Yann (F, age 36) from NYC and only recently got into Firefly - watched Serenity the movie in the theatres and had to get the Firefly DVD.
Watched 'done the impossible' and now I'm a confirmed fan - so I'm gonna do whatever I can to get a vacay from this bughouse I work in, get an outfit together (companion? browncoat? citizen?) and see y'all at the Flan!

Be nice if there was some way to measure one's love and devotion for Firefly and use that as currency.

Yeah - costumes are fun but it might just be fun to blend in too :) And as far as credits is concerned, Mal said it best in the pilot:
"You're right, though. The last two

Just like that one fan in 'Done the Impossible', I have yet to watch the 14th episode, just to keep it 'fresh' somehow... :)
But I'll be writing Universal (in a supportive, mature and non-attacky way) about this great series! - Winner of the Hugo and the Nebula - Firefly / Serenity!
