Yeah, well, whatever it means, if I know Joss, which, actually I don't. Well, that lost steam quick. Well, I suppose I meant to say that if I know fanboys (like Joss) then he knows his precious Browncoats are watching and listening for any sign of hope. We'll take whatever we can get, and if he wants to leave cryptic messages on his blog, we will read them, dissect them, and swallow them. Whole if need be, and we'll love every minute of it.

LOL I love your opening few sentences. They actually remind me a bit of your tagline (Wash's firefight/fry cook line). Very witty! Anyway, nicely said. You and everyone else who's said we'll take what we can get, analyze it, and love it has pretty much been proven right by this thread... look at us! We're still talking about it.

I wish I could see a hint at FF in that post. I can't. He is most likely talking about another Marvel character or a comic venture. Could even be something new and fresh. FF? I think we are stretching. I hope I'm wrong. Dead wrong.

Whoever said that commment about SG-1 is absolutely right. I love SG-1, and want to see it continue, but it almost certainly won't on Sci-Fi channel. I hope it continues somewhere else though. Anyway, that DOES leave a certain spot open. What are they going to put there? Maybe Eureka if it is successful enough but i don't think they'd do that. I sincerely hope that Firefly is revived and put on the air. It'd be the greatest thing ever, and would DEFINITELY make the cancellation of SG-1 not nearly as bad as it is as of now. Let's hope it gets another network and Sci-Fi buys the rights to make the series and makes it and puts in on on Friday nights! Then all would be right with my television world (except for the cancellation of Invasion).

I was in lurk-mode for a while, and I find this tiny bit of sparkle, great sparkle!
I'm maybe new to the verse but at first glance I did see a few hints toward FF/Serenity.
I read and reread the post and then reread the thread.
It is a given that 'keep the faith and spread the love' is referring to the 'verse.
I am getting a +1 -1 from the post since he did not say anything about FF in his recent works, and then simply threw something aside before ending... so cryptic!
Before going back to lurk-mode.
All I can say is, that there is hope and
JOSS!!! If you're lurking here and reading this thread, stop laughin' your head off!!! You sadist!
And what the heck are you talking about?!!!
And oh yeah... Thanks Joss!!!(Honestly)

If I recall, when the BDM was first being hatched as a real idea at Universal Joss was VERY cryptic with his on line posts and didn't give direct hints at all. So I would expect a similar pattern until the new irons in the fire become a lot more real and firm (as in a TV network contract or movie deal or something like that).

That's the joy of Non Disclosure Agreements (NDA's). They drive fans nuts, but they're needed by the industry. On the other hand, watching someone tap-dance through an NDA minefield can sometimes be amusing (Ed Greenwood is especially good at it).

Does the reply have to be to the first message to bump the thread? or any message?
Please, please, please, it comes to something. But frankly, even if it doesn't, I'm glad I could be happy today. Burn the land and boil the sea, you can't take my hope from me.

Whenever a new post is made in a thread, even if all it says is "Bump," that thread is moved to the top of the list. Most lists are sorted by having the thread with the most post on top, and older ones below. So if you have a place with lots of threads, old threads tend to get burried. Bumping makes an old thread new and brings it to the top of the list so people can see it again. Different forums have different rules about how often you can bump something, and whether you can bump a thread you started.
And no need to beg, we'll tell you what you want to know. This place is easier on new people than some I've seen.

Any message designed to bring the thread back to the front page is a bump.
