so in Origin everyone gets their memories back,
and it hit me....
would Fred have ever fallen in love with Wesley if she hadn't lost her memories of Wes' betrayal of Angel?
I hadn't looked at it from that angle before,
but I think that that might have weighed with her.
Anyway I loved the new happier Connor,
he actually had a sense of humor!
BTW I had just recently gotten the Angel comic book Spotlight Connor, which goes a bit into his college career and how he was dealing with the confusing memories.

Yeah, I think so. I think there was always that attraction, so much so that we didn't know Fred was going for Gunn until the last moment.
As far as the betrayal went, I think they were mad at the time, but after everything aired out, they all understood that Wesley wasn't malicious. I think Fred, had she remembered, would have forgiven him. She did try to reconcile to begin with, if Wesley had let her.
Plus, it makes sense--they are both brainy bookish geeky people (not that Gunn didn't have smarts--just a different flavor).
