My little jean embroidery project turned out rather well, IMHO. We'll see how it turns out.
Did you finish your mask this weekend? I finally finished hemming my sari and found jewelry I liked.

Thank you, RMMC! Yeah...it does look more like DPR...the bottle was just handy!
Serenity, yes, I finished the mask and the head-thingy. All of the costumes are complete!
...
*waiting for the world to end*
Hmm. I guess there is life after costuming!
Really, the only thing left is putting a patch on an old graduation gown for the wife...then trying to pack it all!
Glad to hear about the jean project!

Hello Costume Panickers - though I don't know what you're panicking about, as all your photos look wonderful!
Just wanted to let those interested know that my 'costume' - (in fact, a corset which was made for my wedding, which I mentioned about three threads ago) - was a big success! As was the whole day... And MyWash looked just lovely in his kilt.
The corset was just the right fit, and like nothing else I've worn. It was a big hit with all my relatives - new and old! - and also with the Japanese tourists in Edinburgh (we were married right in the middle of Scotland's capital city). We felt like film stars (Serenity ones) with the amount of photos that were taken of us! I found the perfect skirt to go with the corset too - yellow and floaty, from Monsoon - and shoes that were just exactly the right colour - which was difficult because, if you remember, the outfit was pale yellow and gold, with a tartan corset, not a traditional white dress.
Anyway, just wanted to share the clothes-excitement - and to say that I hope all of your corsets / costumes are equally big hits - though from the above pictures that seems certain!

I got the shirt from e-Bay... pretty sure they still sell the brown ones there. Otherwise... they have black ones at Hot Topic.
