Is "Lost" considered Sci-Fi? I've never seen it. But, from what I've seen, it doesn't look like a Sci-Fi show.
I'm surprised X-Files isn't a closer second. It was a really good show until the last season or so. I think after the movie was made, I didn't watch the TV so much.
It seems fairly obvious that Firefly owns the Sci-Fi catagory. As it rightfully should.
