I think some people have seen so much Star Trek they can't see anything else. I have known him a long time and once he gets an opinion you can't bend him. So I never press any issue with him.
And Lopes will never get the part. So I can't really defend something that will never be proven. I just get gut feelings sometimes. You see Phoenrose agrees with you. I'm out numbered.
I actually got the idea of her a doing a more dramatic role while watching her in "Wedding Planner". How romantic can you get. But I saw something in her. I can never put these things in words.
Its like Bill Murray. I saw him in several comedy roles and then he did "The Razor's Edge", and surprized me with a great performance. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it.

I dont like your jennifer lopez pic but i respect that you had the balls to pick her considering she is a (hot)horrible actress. but if they did pick her for wonder woman it would be a disaster and there would be no chance for a sequel. then joss could concentrate on some firefly stuff. so that is always a plus. :) as far as my pic for wonder woman..... I will go the JLOesque rout and choose jessica alba another hot chic who hasnt shown any acting ability

Not a bad choice. She is only one inch taller than Lopes. Lopes is only 5'6". I have not seen her work, so have nothing to judge her buy except her looks. And she does pretty good in that department.
See looks like she's got attitude.

Even before there was thought of a WW movie there was one woman who everytime I saw her thought (she'd make a good WW) Terry Farrel from Deep Space Nine. I once placed her picture next to Linda Carter's and wow, they could have been sisters. Course she's far too old now, and I doubt she'd have the stamina to do the work but she has proven she can be badass, remember she took on Worf, and won him.
And just Google her to see her in that red Wedding dress. Nearly there already. Too bad she's not even considered in the running. This movie came too late.
And as much as I love them both I can't see either Morena or Gina in the roll. Sorry.
