on a Sunday evening. I know, I know, I've
been here before (it's easiest when the
thread's not too long) and never signed up,
but the hand-cutting thing -- well, I already
had to do that to remove a curse involving
pirate gold. Really not into the gore thing.
Could I settle for being Sincere??

Wow, lots and lots of new FORSAKEN! Welcome, one and all.
I had a great weekend. The Hogwarts camp was a HUGE success, and the kids all learned how to write REAL spells, instead of the Harry Potter ones. The 11-15 year old kids wrote a group Protection spell that was absolutely wonderful, while the younger ones all made a "Coloring Book of Shadows" and just had fun.
There were also classes on Potions, Herbology, Alchemy, and we closed the day with a Quiddich match in the glen behind the church.
And not to break PR's mind again, but yes, we held it at the UU church, and we were completely unaware that while we were doing Harry Potter school stuff in the Religious Education building, there was a wedding going on in the main chapel. You wouldn't believe the looks we got from the muggles as we walked around in our ceremonial robes and witch hats!
I also officiated over the opening and closing rituals (real Pagan stuff, not Harry Potter) and by popular demand was unanimously proclaimed "Professor Snape". 
What a great weekend!

I GOT MY TICKETS TO SEE
They will be playing at the 9:30 Club in DC on October 11th. Tickets went on sale Saturday morning at 10:00 and were sold out by 12:00 noon!
I can't wait to see them in a small club atmosphere. It's gonna KICK ASS!
(I used to tell Tina that Amy Lee was the only woman I'd leave her for, but she knew that I was just joking.
There were LOTS of women I would have left her for.
