Yeah, joss has said that he feels that director's cuts imply too much of a battle between the director and the studio, that shouldnt be there. I think Joss is white-lieing about the movie version being his 'vision' though... Joss' visions always have more dialogue in them!

Hey, yinyang, let's play tag the troll, keep the world safe! We're already sorta doing it over multiple threads!

"But, these strong women characters?"

"Why aren't you asking 100 other guys why they don't write strong women characters?" -Joss Whedon

I fear the world will never be safe...

Oh, wait, that's sort of philosophical. But, yes, I do like playing tag - although I'm not sure exactly what that entails on the boards. Mighten you explain that to me a bit? I'm normally a fast learner, but I'm distracted by something on my computer.

Besides the "troll tagging" I agree with this post. If joss had his way there would have been a lot more dialogue. He could make a whole Buffy ep with no one leaving the library. I am sure he had many arguments with the studio about Serenity.

Oh, I'm sorry, Kaneman - I just realized that Whitefall and I left you out of our game. You're welcome to join if you want. After all, the more the merrier!

Dangit Kaneman, i'm plain confused now. You just made a completely non-inflammatory post, and offered a valid opinion.

I... i'm not sure what to do now, if you're not going to antagonize the threads around here, I dunno what yinyang and I will do with our game of tag. (which btw, entails the hopping between threads, seemingly together, taging one another as we amazingly post at the same time to counter Kaneman. So ya see how the plan falls apart if Kaneman is gonna stop being confrontational.)

Don't worry, Whitefall. Trolls are easy to find. And, as I offered above, Kaneman can join us in our merry hob!
