This monopoly game board is an excellent idea. Here are some other suggestions for game pieces. Some have been mentioned.
Serenity(already mentioned)
Jayne's gun Vera
Jayne's shiny hat
River's boot
Mal's gun
Inara's shuttle

"Shiny. Let's be bad guys."

For the game that I made I used Sculpey to make some small ships. It took a couple tries to get it right, but it's not as hard as you might think.

What is Sculpey?

Sculpey is a polymer clay. Works kind of like play-dough, except that it's a lot smoother and easier to get details with. http://www.sculpey.com/ You can bake it after you're done and it's as hard as a ceramic. Here's my little Serenity model.

That's the one I referred to earlier. I made it for school. I didn't want to go too crazy on this thread, cuz it ain't my thread. But you can find it in the Blue Sun Room. http://www.fireflyfans.net/sunroomitem.asp?i=10704

You can download it at http://michaeljwelch.com/files/Game.zip

I'm sooo excited about this.... I want to get a real monopoly board and try to print this at a size that I can paste it on the real game board and use that game's pieces, maybe even the money & chance/chest cards if I discover it would require too much paper & ink to print the ones that go with the game.

But, I'm kind of stuck.

Does anybody have some tips on how to open up these downloads so they can be printed? Please? I'd really love to try this... but, I can't open it! I don't know if I don't have the right program or what... is there still a way for it to work, if I don't have the right one? Or am I just dumb and this should be easier than I think. Help, please?

Go & get the program Infraview it's a free graphic viewer & then once downloaded it should automatically open the Firefly monopoly files.

Find it at www.irfanview.com
