A few years ago I would have said that the BBC was the best bet for a Sci-Fi show but these days I'd go for C4. If by some miracle it did get picked up they might just show it on E4 as well and then we get repeats throughout the week plus a week later it all gets repeated again on C4. Lots and lots of showings.

I always thought that the BBC controlled the govt.
The 'license fee' crap where they charge what they want for usually very substandard programmes (there are some exceptions though), and endless repeats of Dads Army, Last Of The Summer Wine and other lame sitcoms.
BBC2 on the other hand has it's fair share of decent to fantastic programmes.

I think we need to send email & mail to all of the channels BBC2,C4,& C5.That whay there's more of a chance but it's going to take a lot of us to make them even consider buying Firefly.

What about the other viewers such as myself who don't have access to BBC? A lot of Firefly's fan base is in America and many of them probably don't have BBC or C4 etc etc including myself but i wish i did since i like a number of britsh shows

I think it would be great to get firefly aired anywhere it can be. In the US or UK, it doesn't matter to me. I will be happy to send some e-mails. You never know, maybe if we get enough people to respond. Anyway, I think I only pick up BBC, but that's okay. Either way, we will have to break through the alliance stronghold.

But you Americans had Firefly repeated multiple times on Sci-Fi plus we Brits have never had Firefly on TV before hell you even got Serenity on HBO we won't get Serenity for a while on TV.And as for BBC,C4 programs which you can't get I feel exactly the same way cause us Brits can't get all your TV channels.

Firefly has aired multiple times on UK Sci-Fi (ISTR they had the world premiers of Trash, Heart Of Gold & The Message). And Sky Box Office are currently showing Serenity. However, I do agree it would be nice to have Firefly on a main UK network, even though it only aired on a main US network (Fox) once, with (apparently) not much success. And I agree that BBC2 would be the ideal choice over C4/E4 and five.

most of the shows we have are crap. and the few shows that we have that are good are often stolen from the lads across the pond such as The Office. But then again you guys had Red Dwarf (my favorite brit show) and it never took off in America, in fact i have a copy of the pilot episode which is of extremely poor quality and fails in comparison to the british version since you cant beat Craig Charles, Robert Llewellyn, Danny J. Jules, and Chris Barrie and Norman Lovett

Great idea for BBC2 to pick it up, might bring a few more fans in.
