Just saw the preview for next weeks Dead Like Me on Showtime. Jewel is playing the love interest of the character named Mason(Callum Blue).

It is a great show. This is the season finale. Catch it when it re-runs if you get the chance.

Dead Like Me just started in the UK on Friday. Is anyone watching - because this is a great show?!

Also, the guy that plays Mason is spookily similar looking to Glenn Quinn (Angel's Doyle).

Book: “A duel?”

It's a very fun show and I enjoy it a lot. Bamadave introduced me and now I've got a firm dl'ing schedule. Watched "Vacation" this morning and got the preview for next week. I almost squeed out. She looked crazy cool and crimped and purple!

i love this show its the only show i have realy gotten in to since firefly.

Yay! I love "Dead Like Me". Since I've just got interested in Firefly via the DVDs, I didn't know who Jewel Staite was at the time. (I know, I know-- I'm ashamed ) I'll have to dig out my tape and re-watch it.

Anyone know where one can get screencaps of the episode? I find myself intrigued by the thought of Jewel in a non-Kaylee role and costume....

History doesn't always repeat itself. Sometimes it merely shouts "Weren't you listening the first time?!?" and lets fly with a club.

It's funny. I too have been watching the reruns of the show now, adictively. There is a site of all the guest stars, but Jewel isn't on it. Hmm. There are also a TON of screencaps, but none I've seen of Jewel either.

And yes, I agree. Mason does remind me a lot of Doyle...except British. My favorite part is when he took the baseball bat to the parking meter. A lot of violence to steal some petty change.
