Boy, that song takes me back! Not that I was around when it came out, but growing up I never heard any songs about Lindas. My sister had 'Tell Laura I Love Her' (even if it's almost as depressing as Cash's 'I Hung my Head') and Mum had 'Sweet Caroline'. All I had was 'Age of Aquarius' - my star sign!
That was my childhood trauma. Apparently I got off lightly.
