They laughed at you on your wedding day? That's just mean!

The Forsaken aren't bad. We're just playful

I had the last laugh.

We had a huge profiterole cake (croquembouche) instead of a nasty marzipan thing, and a load of champagne and a proper Irish band in the evening. It was a very, very good day (if a little hazy by the end...)

I got distracted. What are we talking about? I don't have any funny wedding stories...

I was just dragging cake and booze back into the thread. The wedding was just an excuse for a really big party.

And somebody was getting some llamas drunk...

So...cream-filled profiteroles with caramel sauce, or marzipan fruit cake?

It's a given that diabetes is very much not a factor amongst the Forsaken, right?

*scarfs a heap of cream-filled profiteroles with caramel sauce and marzipan fruit cake*

Yum!

Not yet - but a year or two of this diet and it might be!

Unless you believe that daft politician that blamed the high rate of diabetes in Norfolk on inbreeding. I kid you not.

Yep, a croquembouche is basically a really big pile of profiteroles, filled with cream (chocolate and vanilla), stuck together with caramel sauce and little sweet wafers, then decorated with more caramel and sugared almonds.

The profiteroles were the size of golf-balls, too.

Guess who doesn't have a lunch-break today?

I would never eat in real life the way I eat here, I'll tell you that much!

I do!

I am aware of the existence of calories, diets and exercise. But I regard them as one would strange beasts, herded past for the delectation and abomination of the viewer.
