Alliance uniform accoutrements

Okay, fan of Alliance uniforms here (just to get that out of the way!).

I am making the uniform Doug Savant wore in "Bushwacked". The gray fabric is easy enough to find, and the construction is no problem...

Here is where I need help: Does anyone know where I can find the oval Alliance pin he wears at the collar?
Also, has anyone found (or looked?) for the rectangular "buttons" on the coat front?

Am I the only Alliance fan here? *crickets chirping* Hey, we can't all be browncoats....gotta have someone to "play" with!
Any help will be appreciated!

If nothing else you may be able to make both the insignia and buttons with polymer clay and a toaster oven.

you might try the folks at New Moon Props. www.newmoonprops.com

They work in resin and do commission work. Not sure how much coin they'd want.

I have the jacket pattern drafted, and once I get this constructed I will post some pics.
