CHANNAIN-Barring the fact that I now need a cigarette and/or a cold shower, I like the back story on Rowan's husband. We're going to New Hikido. I wanted it to sound Asian and exotic. Thought maybe that would play in nicely with your character. She has to have a reason for wanting to go to this destination. Family on New Hikido? Tournament? Know what I mean?

P.S.:I think I speak for at least the male characters in RP. "Snug-fitting clothes and tiny undies are a winning combination!!"HOOO-AHHHH!!!

I guess we could play it the opposite way--Inara and Mal could drift apart a bit--perhaps someone new will come aboard. Play up the lonely life of the companion? Could work!

He would certainly be interested in some civilized companionship, after having been away from the core worlds since the war. Would give him a chance to show his refined side (he was a senior officer in the Alliance forces, after all). Also give Mal something else to worry about, while he's flirting with Rowan.

I had a feeling it was going this way when CapnRahn picked my new avatar - coincidentally, the same one I was going to send to Haken anyway. I mean what fun is it to play someone else if you can't be drop-dead goh-guss too?

Now she's not a nymphomaniac fellas - sorry to say, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. That isn't to say she isn't above *rationalizing* the impulse behind bedding her next partner.

Funny - as I'm typing this, I just noticed the shot of Jayne and Mal from the end of Jaynestown has appeared in the upper left corner of the screen.

Ironical? I think so!

Incidentally, is anyone else hearing strains from the theme from "Love Boat" or is it just me?
