It's not really data entry, it's an answering service. If I could have afforded to quit the first day, I might have. If I could have afforded to get myself fired, I would have smacked her in the head. But you know, there's a certain satisfaction in being the bigger person in this whole ordeal. They have no reason to fire or even reprimand me because I'm upset, but I'm also keeping my calm.
I won't stoop to the level of McD's, but I've considered applying at Starbucks.

Okay, so, you're right, there is a satisfaction in being the bigger person. Ooh, Starbucks!, even better! I have no idea what I was thinking when I mentioned McD's!

On another note I noticed you had a quote from Gautama Siddharta, the original Buddhist! I find that cool! also, I'm learning about Taoism, Which according to Wikipedia, is in contrast to Buddhism, though my father believes Taoism is the begining of Buddhism. I find that I can apply teachings from both religions to my life.

Taoism and Buddhism have a lot in common. I like Taoism a lot. I like a lot of things; there are many belief systems with very legitimate teachings that I can apply to my life. That's why I refer to myself as a "buffet" Pagan.
I've got some great Gautama quotes; I might start rotating them in my sig, I just thought this one matched nicely.

Wussa wussa wussa! (what's it mean? It's fun to say)

Probably mis spelling it, but if you've ever watched Bad Boys 2. Its the shrink recommend saying to relieve stress. Capt of force, Will Smith, and Martin Lawerence characters are required to go through this course. Will Smiths character ends up nailing the shrink of course. But its a fun thing to say to relieve stress. Both me and my boss had seen the movie so we used to say it, when Management made shity calls, when we were pushing 1,000 + truck on night shift, or if we where behind etc. That and sometimes Dave Chapelle's famous quote "I'm Rick James ---- Bitch !!!!" Needless to say we had alot of interesting conversations there.

You should definitely rotate the quotes! I think it would be the coolest, and, the more I can learn about Buddhism/Taoism, the better, since I'm just starting out.

Edit: well, I promised myself 3:00am, never again, so, I'll talk to you tomorrow.

This one is my favorite:
"Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it - even if I have said it - unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense."

Another favorite:

*comforts PR* Been there, done that, nearly ripped the d fool woman's head off (then returned it down her throat).

Really, really, really sorry that you had to deal with such a person. It's tough, and *digs around suddenly, pulling out a chocolate decadance, and handing it to PR* *making waving motions to eat it slowly while continuing* takes a lot of energy to let those things slide sometimes.

*side hug* Ya did good with the contacting your boss tho'. Let them know what happened and (hopefully) things will get better, or she-who-blew-up will realize how foolish she was and come back to apologize to you. *blinks at everyone's incredulous looks* Hey! It might happen. *mutters something about likelyhood of me becoming a "patron saint"/deity of that happening first* (I'm trying to be positive here! It's hard enough with the crazy I deal with...)

*meh* Sorry...slid off there (had to deal with mine today, pulling the same stunt she did with me on someone else in my vicinity then having the nerve to act like she was an innocent in the matter...*mutter*)

Too bad you're not near me...there's a position opening where I am, soon...part time though, but pay's not too bad...

MsG: May you have all the children you desire...as soon as you want them, and may they be a blessing in your life and in the world.
As for the "new teacher" orientation for where you've transferred to: hopefully they taught you some of the more useful things there -- like what system they're using for IEPs, which district people to call if you need help with said IEPs, the usual important things that SpEd teachers need.

*lets chocolate dissolve in her mouth*
Mrmmmmmmrr. 'Ank 'oo...

Yeah, there was a witness here, I'm really mad that she didn't say anything.
I still want out. I need OUT!
Okay, more chocolate, deep breaths...
