I was really impressed with Constantine. I really digged the "slacker" hero who only cared when it was worth caring.

Forgot about Constantine. That was a good one too. Another one I like because Constantine was an ordinary man put into an extraordinary situation.

i wouldnt call spiderman accurate per say but you were right to put it in the list of the best.
But the most accurate comic book film is probably sin city. Shame it was crap.

IT WAS NOT CRAP!!!!
I loved Sin City! But it was hardly a "super-hero" movie now was it? They were heroes in their way, I suppose, but I wouldn't really call it a "super-hero movie" per se.

Constantine!?!
No frickin' way! That was just 'Angel' again! As a Hellblazer fan from way back, I cannot cope with the whole Americanization of the Northern Magus.
So...that'll be a 'no'.
There was talk of doing 'Preacher' as a film. Do we like? We do. But only if they cast it right. Or 'Watchmen'. But I would love to see someone try and get their head round 'Sandman'. I suspect that has to stay in the realm of graphics, though.

And howzabout ... dun dun dun dun dun... FLASH!
Ah-Aaahhhh!!!
Saviour of the Universe!
Do you mean the Flash Gordon movie they made back in the 80's? That gloriously awful one with the campy outfits and the soundtrack by Queen? Because loving that movie to bits is my guilty secret.

"Flash, I love you, but we only have 14 hours to save the Earth!!!" Great line, that.

I liked "Indestructible". Broke away from the usual story line. The reluctant hero. How he had to be pushed into his role as superhero. And the ending showing just how twisted evil can be.
