Firefly and Marijuana

Firefly and marijuana were once part of an eagerly aniticipated weekly ritual of mine and several friends.

No cannibalism involved. Justice League and Samurai Jack on cartoon network were the warm acts. Firefly and whatever flavor Ben & Jerry's was handy were the main feature.

Then, to get the adrenalin pumping at 9pm there was the ceremonial sprint to the TV to shut it off before John Doe would come on and kill the buzz.

I MISS THOSE DAYS!!!!

Ooops! Did I say too much? Guess I can't run for political office anymore.

I'm a menace to society!!!!

Personally, I believe that if Kaylee can develop inter-engine fermentation, then certainly the crew of Serenity can find room in one of their many hidey-holes to grow a little grass. Then they can use it to bribe Alliance officials with.

And Firefly is a little like smoking the pot, it leaves me hungry for more. . .please Joss, make that movie quick!

As one of Hjermy's ritualistically converted ME-Junkies, and co-conspirator in the weekly Firefly ritual, I too watched every single episode of Firefly (as well as every Buffy and Angel) .

Me being the sick mind that I am, I always wondered which characters would be most likely to get stoned. My vote is Wash. Though I'm sure he would have to be cautious of Zoe (don't see her as the type to get stoned), you have to admit it would be funny as hell to see him trying to fly the ship completely blitzed.

My opinion is that Jayne is a closet pothead.

My reasons,

i, He spends an inordinate amount of time "in his bunk"
ii, When he is asleep, not even an intruder can wake him up.
iii, He gives names and assigns personalities to inamimate objects.
iiii, He's almost always eating (big time munchies).
